This bare ACSR conductor is manufactured with concentric layers of aluminum strands over a galvanized steel core, available in nominal cross-sections from 16mm² to 400mm². The steel core carries the mechanical tensile load, while the aluminum strands conduct current, making the cable suitable for overhead transmission and distribution lines where both strength and conductivity are required. The conductor is supplied in bare form for direct installation on insulators and support structures. Stranding patterns and conductor dimensions are produced to recognized ACSR specifications, ensuring compatibility with standard fittings and hardware. The aluminum surface provides natural oxidation resistance in most outdoor environments, and the composite construction helps limit sag over moderate to long spans.
