This bare stranded ACSR conductor is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61089, with a galvanized steel core surrounded by concentric layers of stranded aluminum wires. The zinc-coated steel core provides the tensile capacity needed for overhead installation, while the aluminum strands carry the current. The conductor is supplied in bare form for direct mounting on insulators and support structures, and its stranding geometry follows the designation system defined in IEC 61089. The combination of aluminum conductivity and steel reinforcement makes this conductor suitable for transmission and distribution routes where mechanical loading and electrical performance must both be addressed.
