Overhead secondary distribution lines are the main application for covered line wire. When installed, it is handled like a bare conductor because it is not an electrically insulated conductor.
Structure
Concentrically stranded wires made of aluminum alloy 1350-H19 are wrapped in linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE).
