This AAC all aluminum conductor is a bare stranded cable made entirely from electrical-grade aluminum wires arranged in concentric layers. It is offered in nominal sizes including 25mm², 50mm², 95mm², and 120mm², making it suitable for high voltage overhead construction applications. Because no steel core is used, the conductor relies on its aluminum strands for both current conduction and mechanical support. This design reduces weight, simplifies splicing and termination, and eliminates magnetic losses associated with steel-reinforced cables. The bare aluminum surface forms a natural oxide film that resists weathering, while the absence of dissimilar metals at connections helps avoid galvanic corrosion.
